Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich comments on Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s Fourth of July speech, saying that it “may be the most anti-American speech ever given by an American presidential candidate.”

Sleepy Joe delivered a short video speech on Twitter from his home in Wilmington, Delaware, last July 4. In his short speech, Biden said that the Americans now have the chance to give the marginalized, the demonized, and the oppressed, a full share of the American dream. He added that America finally has the chance to “rip the roots of systemic racism out of this country.”

Then, former House Speaker Gingrich reacted to Biden’s speech in a long Twitter thread, starting off by saying that Sleepy Hoe’s 245-word 97-second long Fourth of July message may be the “most anti-American speech ever given by an American presidential candidate.”

Gingrich called out Biden for omitting the Creator in his “shortened version” of the Declaration of Independence.

He also pointed out that Biden snubbed numerous other great men and just focused on his own biased message. Then proceeded to enumerate various historic events in America.

Then he said that Biden now claims that he would change America, just now even after nearly half a century of service. “Apparently in Biden’s America, there has been no progress,” Gingrich added.

He followed that tweet up by enumerating the great progress America has gone through, in terms of including and giving positions in the government to the members of the Black community. It seemed like Biden forgot that he served alongside a Black president himself.

As opposed to his criticism of Biden’s statements, Gingrich praised President Donald Trump’s speech at Mt. Rushmore on Friday, saying that the speech might just win Trump the reelection in November.
