In yet another proof that leftists do not practice what they preach, the late-night host for ABC, Jimmy Kimmel has come out to apologize for doing blackface in the past. Kimmel has issued an apology for performing a skit for Comedy Central’s The Man Show, where he impersonated NBA superstar Karl Malone. But there is another incident that has surfaced for which Kimmel has yet to apologize. The second incident is that of an album where he is impersonating rapper, Snoop Dogg. Kimmel allegedly uses the n-word there several times.

As if those incidents are not enough, there is also a video where he is seen wearing blackface and wearing a fat suit while pretending to be Oprah Winfrey. To make matters worse, his Oprah character used a Latina maid as a mat for working out.

Kimmel has just announced that he will be taking the summer off from hosting. Kimmel sent out a statement to several news outlets. “I have long been reluctant to address this, as I knew doing so would be celebrated as a victory by those who equate apologies with weakness and cheer for leaders who use prejudice to divide us. That delay was a mistake,” part of his statement read. After that, he apologized for doing blackface. Even as he is apologizing, he shifts the blame to others, especially President Donald Trump.

Kimmel is a well-known critic of the President. He has used his platform to blast Trump and to accuse him of causing all the ills that are plaguing America right now. Last month, in an attempt to take advantage of the controversy of the death of George Floyd, Kimmel made an emotional appeal for Trump to be voted out of office. He said that enough is enough.

Now, it seems that Kimmel is getting canceled because he did blackface as part of a show. Ordinarily, that should not have been a problem because he was doing comedy, and it should be okay to poke fun at everything, but leftists like him have made sure that anyone doing blackface must be canceled. The problem is that most of the people who are being caught doing that are those from the left.

Just recently, his fellow talk show host Jimmy Fallon also had to apologize for doing blackface back when he was still an SNL cast member. Fallon was impersonating Chris Rock for a 2000 sketch, and a video of it resurfaced.
