On Wednesday, presumptive Democratic nominee, and former Vice President, Joe Biden laid out his plan if President Donald Trump refused to leave the White House after failing the 2020 presidential elections.

Appearing on the Comedy Central’s “Daily Show” broadcast, Biden claimed that he believed that the US military would have to make a move to dispatch Trump out of the office. The exchange began when the show’s host, Trevor Noah, asked a “strange” question to the Democratic nominee. “Have you ever considered what would happen if the election result came out as you being the winner and Trump refused to leave?” Trevor asked.

Biden responded with a “yes.” He continued that he will be so “damn proud” if the moment comes. “You have four chiefs of staff coming out and ripping the skin off of Trump,” the former Vice President said. He continued that there would be military personnel who would make a great dramatic dispatch on Trump, adding, “I promise you, I am absolutely convinced they will escort him from the White House with great dispatch.”

Indeed, Democrats can’t wait to see Trump out of the office. In fact, Representative Cedric Richmond said on Thursday that he would be more than happy to join in the “escort committee” to take Trump out of the office.

During his interview for CNN’s “New Day,” Richmond expressed his concern that Trump would not be able to “honor” the results of the upcoming November elections. To ensure that the President is out of office, the lawmaker expressed his desire to join in “the escort committee to make sure that [Trump] leaves the White House.”

Richmond claimed that it is a “serious question,” adding that he is worried there would be no “peaceful transition of power” once Trump failed his re-election bid. He is confident that Trump would find a way to create an issue or a problem, as to “not honor election results.” The congressman believed that in order to avoid the situation, the party has to win with “really big numbers.”

He concluded that another way for them to win is to completely ignore the “temper tantrums” from the White House. Finally, Richmond agreed to Biden’s statements that the military would have to take charge of the situation.

However, the White House is having none of it and returned to slap back at Biden. As increasing anti-confederate sentiments ensued, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany claimed that if people wanted to rename buildings and military bases from confederate heroes, they should also lobby to rename the Biden Center.

McEnany asked how to ‘draw the line” between what was appropriate or not. Before leaving the podium, McEnany asked the media if they should also rename The Biden Welcome Center on Interstate 95, which was given in honor of Vice President Joe Biden and his family.
