The Black Lives Matter protesters have reached the other side of the world in London. Thousands of protesters took to the streets of London last weekend, with many violently attacking police officers, crashing public property, and stomping on a lookalike figure of President Donald Trump.

As the mainstream media continues to portray London protests as “largely peaceful” protests, the truth is that the crowd of rioters in the UK is no different from those we have going around the major cities across the United States. BLM protesters were seen attacking police officers and knocking public property on the ground.

The chaotic event happened in Downing Street, London, on Saturday and ended up with 27 injured police officials. The rioters were being stopped from firing flares towards the Prime Minister’s official residence and violently stepping and breaking Trump’s lookalike figure.

The rioters did not want to be stopped, so they ended up facing a battle of force with police officials on horseback. One policewoman was knocked off from her horse after trying to control the riot. She was reported to have suffered from multiple injuries, including broken ribs, broken collar bone, and a collapsed lung.

“I would urge protesters to please find another way to make your views heard which does not involve coming out on the streets of London, risking yourself, your families and officers as we continue to face this deadly virus,” the Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Dame Cressida Dick commented regarding the chaos caused by rioters in London.

Aside from fighting and attacking police officers, the protesters also vandalized and disrespected the statues of historical figures like Sir Winston Churchill and Abraham Lincoln.

Just like the US, London has seen massive numbers of people gathering to protest despite the looming threats of the deadly Wuhan coronavirus. London has also seen a number of protests in the city all throughout the week.
