On Wednesday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) joined George Floyd’s protesters outside the Capitol in Washington DC.

The staunch Never Trumper made her way through the crowds with shades and a mask on and surrounded by members of her staff and numerous security guards.

But earlier on Wednesday, the House Speaker said on MSNBC’s Morning Joe that she was worried the nationwide protests could lead to more cases of the Chinese coronavirus. She said that she was “indeed concerned” about the possibility because, in order to help stop the spread of the virus, people need to be wearing masks and practicing social distancing, which was clearly forgotten by protesters and rioters as they stand all so close to each other maskless and exposed to anyone near them.

“And as people go out there, I hope that they know that they’re taking a risk, as well as bringing home–but there’s been some good social distancing among some of the crowds and on TV, they all look like they are very close together,” the House Speaker added. Then she followed up, saying that she thinks some of them are “probably” observing social distancing.

But then, she broke her own words and observations as she walked out to the Capitol and joined the hundreds of protesters outside, ignoring the risk of getting the deadly coronavirus.

On Tuesday, Pelosi mocked President Donald Trump and read a scripture from the Bible after Trump walked and stood in front of St. John’s Episcopal Church, holding a Bible. “We would hope that the President of the United States would follow the lead of so many other presidents before he has to be a healer in chief and not a fanner of the flame,” Pelosi said to the press.

Before that, she also went to Twitter to accuse the President of “ripping the country apart” during a time when our country “cries out for unification.”

Pelosi is the latest Democrat who joined the protesters and rioters on the streets of America. On Saturday, Sen. Kamala Harris joined a protest outside the White House, while Sen. Elizabeth Warren and her husband joined another White House protest on Tuesday night.
