On Thursday, during an appearance on left-wing media MSNBC, former Barrack Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett accused President Donald Trump of embracing white supremacy and “fueling” the anger of Minneapolis protesters.

Hundreds of protesters came out in Minneapolis following the death of George Floyd, who was killed by a police officer on duty by kneeling on his neck despite Floyd’s cries for help. For two straight days, the city has seen a barrage of protesters, which ended up in violence and theft. Some groups ransacked police stations, set a building on fire, and looted a Target store.

MSNBC host Joy Reid asked Jarrett about her take on how President Donald Trump is responding regarding the George Floyd issue. Reid mentioned former protests in Baltimore, Ferguson, and Missouri, saying, “So this is something that President Obama dealt with. How do you respond to the way the current president is handling this?”

Jarret responded to the host’s question, saying that first of all, the tone “starts at the top.” “If we have a president who says in the context of white supremacists and lawful demonstrators they’re good people on both sides, I don’t think we should be surprised it’s fueling anger out there,” she said.

She explained that there are families around our country today, not just Floyd’s, who are suffering from what happened. She says that people are scared and that this is a time when you expect your government “to wise up” and the country’s leaders to “respond with core decency.” Then she mentioned her Democrat ally, former Attorney General Eric Holder, who went to the cities or the states where demonstrations happened. “Our Justice Department was on the spot,” Jarrett claimed.

Then Jarrett went ahead and accused the administration of focusing only on the Twitter issue and not on more pressing issues like George Floyd’s death and the protesters or the 100,000 people who have died from the Chinese coronavirus. “Folks all around our country who are watching what’s on your screen right now, wondering how this continuing to happen in America?” Jarrett said.

However, what Obama’s former adviser failed to mention is that President Trump has expressed his condolences to the Floyds and immediately directed the FBI and the DOJ to conduct an investigation regarding Floyd’s case and give him and his family justice.

Once again, establishment media and their Democrat idols only choose what they want to see and hear and fail to report what really happened.
