CNN is no longer pretending to be unbiased when it initially refused to report presidential candidate Joe Biden’s “You Ain’t Black” comment, which has caused a great deal of controversy. Appearing on the “Breakfast Club” radio show, he told the host Charlamagne tha God, “I tell you if you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.”

The highly controversial statement caused a great deal of backlash immediately. Shortly after his appearance, both Fox News and MSNBC ran segments that covered the statements made by the former vice president. Biden’s campaign team immediately went into full damage control. His communication director, Symone Sanders, who happens to be black, tried to explain his statements by saying that he was just joking. That didn’t stop people from talking about what Biden had said.

In the afternoon, Biden tried to walk back his statement by saying that he never took the African-American community for granted. Although, Biden did not apologize for what he said. The damage control did not work as the hashtags #YouAintBlack and #JoeBidenIsARacist started trending on Twitter. By evening, all the major networks have covered the controversy. All except for CNN.

CNN only mentioned the incident by 7 p.m. Eastern time. They interviewed Charlamagne tha God about the controversy. It seems that CNN was only forced to report on what had happened because it had no other choice.

Critics of CNN and the other networks have pointed out its obvious bias in choosing what to report. With other leftist mainstream media networks reporting on the obvious error that Biden has committed, CNN still refused to cover it. The people have pointed out that if President Trump or any other conservative politician made such a remark, the people at CNN would be asking for his resignation.

CNN is just showing that it does not care about what people think of its service as a media outlet.
