Famed Hollywood director Judd Apatow claimed that President Donald Trump had “normalized” insanity, adding that the Republican party should be held accountable for the thousands of deaths as a result of the ongoing health crisis.

In his recent Twitter post, Apatow wrote that Trump had “normalized being insane.” However, the director assured his followers that they would vote out the President and the rest of the Republican party in the upcoming 2020 general elections, believing that “They care more about their power than helping people. None stand up and say the President is inept, and that is a dereliction of duty.” Finally, Apatow said that the Republican party “are responsible for thousands of deaths.”

Apatow had also previously voiced his criticisms against the administration. In a Twitter post, the director claimed that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, as well as the rest of the GOP, should be prosecuted and held responsible for the thousands of deaths from the Chinese virus. He accused McConnell of supporting the President despite knowing that he was a “con man who lied to everyone to delay bad news, and that led to thousands of additional deaths.” Apatow lashed out by declaring that “They are all murderers.”

Apatow’s tweet was a response to the Senate Majority Leader’s contention, to stop Democrats from holding an impeachment trial against President Donald Trump after their failed attempt.

Back in 2018, Apatow also accused Trump of being a “Nazi.” In his social media post, the director claimed that the President does not want to hold any judicial processes. Apatow continued by criticizing Trump’s immigration policies, claiming that he had “kidnapped children” and even incited violence for “political gain,” to satisfy his own “racist views.”

However, not everyone in Hollywood’s Tinseltown was blindsided by the increasing concerns over presumptive Democratic nominee and former Vice-President Joe Biden. In fact, Biden had been losing support among progressive celebrities, such as Rose McGowan, and actress Susan Sarandon.

Just last week, Sarandon, who was a Bernie supporter, shared several social media posts on sexual assault allegations against Biden. In a report from Fox News, the actress had retweeted three posts on Tara Reade’s evidence.

The evidence was video footage that dates back to 1993 when Reade’s mother called CNN Larry King asking for advice. Reade’s mother claimed that her daughter had encountered “problems” with a “prominent senator.” Later on, Sarandon shared a satirical post, on why Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez refused to investigate Reade’s accusation, with a simple explanation that former President Barack Obama had trusted Biden, and so does he.
