Hollywood actress and sexual assault victim, Rose McGowan lashed out against left-wing media, the Washington Post, for “victim shaming” Tara Reid.

Just last week, Reid, a former Biden staffer filed criminal charges for sexual assault against the former vice president. Reid claimed that the presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden had slammed her against the wall and forcibly penetrated her with his fingers.

However, left-wing media discredited Reid’s statements, along with six other women, who came out with sexual assault allegations against the Democrat. McGowan, who was assaulted and raped by former Hollywood executive and staunch Democrat supporter Harvey Weinstein, spoke out against the media bias.

She claimed that the Washington Post’s article was not an example of journalism, but rather, a form of agenda-setting. The actress added that the media outlet had “sunk to a new low in slanted journalism and victim shaming.”

Based on the WAPO’s article, the media outlet claimed that they had launched an investigation on Reid’s allegations in the past three weeks. They even claimed that they tried to get hold of Reid’s therapist notes during her session. In the said article, the media outlet also warned the former Biden staffer that false reports on crime are punishable “by up to 30 days in jail.”

McGowan lashed out on the media outlet, adding that “As a survivor, the way you launched into this woman’s assault is truly vile. I feel violated by your shitty writing.” The actress even reminded the Washington Post of their motto, “Democracy Dies in Darkness.” She concluded that it perfectly sums up the media outlet. “Well, I guess it’s dead because you are dark. Evil lives and it loves the DNC,” McGowan wrote.

The left-wing media had already set their agenda to paint Biden as an “innocent man.” In fact, the New York Times also published a similar article that was meant to discredit Reid’s allegations. In a recent article, the New York Times concluded that the presumptive Democratic nominee had “no pattern of sexual misconduct by Biden, beyond hugs, kisses, and touching that women previously said made them uncomfortable.” The article had even compared Biden’s sexual assault allegations with that of Trump.

However, NYT was quick to delete the last line, after they had received massive backlash on social media for contradicting their own statements.

McGowan was an outspoken supporter of the #MeToo movement, which trended on Twitter after numerous allegations of sexual assault against Weinstein came into light in 2017. Unlike her other fellow “feminist” Alyssa Milano, McGowan refuses to let the media get away by covering up “Creepy Joe Biden.”
