Controversial director and vocal Trump critic Rob Reiner is making headlines once again after practically begging die-hard Bernie Sanders supporters to vote for “Sleepy” Joe Biden.

On Monday, Reiner took to his favorite social media, Twitter, to voice out his pleads. He said that Sanders’s supporters should vote for Biden to defeat “ignorance, racism, corruption, and incompetence by the biggest landslide in US history.”

Reiner tweeted following Sanders’s official endorsement of the former vice president. Before Sanders quit his $160 million campaign, Reiner was a loud and proud supporter of the Democratic Socialist. In April last year, Reiner had also expressed his delight when Joe Biden officially ran for office. “I think that if he becomes president, on day one, America will be brought back to where it belongs in the world,” the director said.

Fellow democrats and used-to-be Bernie fanatics, Barbra Streisand, Rosie O’Donnell, and Alyssa Milano, share the same sentiments as Reiner, with the latter facing backlash for supporting Biden. Before Biden became the presumptive nominee to go head to head with President Donald Trump, Milano was an active member of the #MeToo movement and stood in solidarity with fellow females “believing all women.” However, the tides changed when she changed court and started campaigning for Sleepy Joe, who faces various sexual assault allegations, one of which is from former Biden staffer, Tara Reade. Milano has been silent about the issue for days, but finally spoke to the media and explained that although she believes in women, she wasn’t willing to believe one at the “expense of not giving men their due process and investigating situations.”

On the other hand, despite Reiner’s obvious cry for help for Sanders’s supporters to change court, a lot of solid pro-Berns socialists expressed their unwillingness to vote for Biden.

One user explained why he supported Sanders and not Biden in the first place.

Another showed a receipt of why Democratic socialists wouldn’t vote for Biden.

One also explained the difference between supporting a candidate and supporting the candidate’s choice.

One of them was brave enough to “take the blame” if President Trump wins a second term because he will NOT be voting for Biden.

And of course, the Democratic Socialists of America, which is the largest and fastest-growing socialist organization in the country, voiced out their decision in five words.
