Another Hollywood mishap stirred Twitterverse on Easter Sunday. Comedian and late-night talk show host Conan O’Brien who was old enough to know what jokes are acceptable and not made a highly insensitive and borderline offensive tweet on Sunday. “Trump says Jesus could have avoided crucifixion by taking hydroxychloroquine,” O’Brien posted.

O’Brien was referring to the anti-malaria drug studied to be a potential cure for the COVID-19 virus. Since the president started to endorse the drug, left-wing partisans never ran out of ideas just to take a swing at the president’s every move.

However, nobody on the internet found O’Brien’s joke to be funny. Instead, people, especially the Catholics, found it offensive and insensitive. Easter was supposed to be a solemn celebration for the religious group, but O’Brien clearly missed the memo and decided to post a truly remarkable tweet.

A user expressed her dismay over the actor and the Left and wondered why they always had to target Christians, treating them as “punching bags.”

One replied saying that Joan Rivers was right about O’Brien getting fired from the Tonight Show because he was, in fact, “unfunny.”

One was clearly so tired of try-hard Hollywood comedians that she claimed regular Americans are actually even funnier than the ones we see on the screen.

Another was reminded by his previous decision to cancel O’Brien even before and reminded the talk show host that hydroxychloroquine “appears to work.”

One user was totally not having his BS on Easter.

Another person asked if there could just be a day without something political.

A user also dared the 56-year-old host to make a joke about Islam.

And one said that O’Brien’s career is kaput.
