Prominent Trump critic and actor Alec Baldwin told supporters of the president last Friday to just stay home and not bother voting. Baldwin gave that “advice” through his Twitter account and is just the latest of his attacks on the president and his supporters.

“I’ve got some voting advice for many of you struggling Trump voters. I picked it up from Trump himself. Just stay home. You know, in your heart, that he is an incompetent idiot and self-seeking punk. Say you were sick. Say you were scared. Don’t bother voting. Stay home,” Baldwin tweeted.

Baldwin’s statement shows just how much the Democrats and the left, in general, are afraid of the support that President Trump is getting. Based on a HarrisX survey during the early part of 2020, it was found that Trump enjoyed 90% support among Republican voters. Another survey, this time run by Gallup in March, found that 92% of Republicans approve of the way that President Trump is running the country. That just means the Republican Party is solid behind the president.

Baldwin has a history of mocking President Trump or anyone who supports him. Last week, he labeled the millions of Americans who voted for President Trump as “mentally ill” because of their political choices. He also accused them of causing the moral decline of the country.

Baldwin added that foreigners now believe that Americans are racists because Trump was elected into office. He has consistently accused the president of being a Nazi, which has become the standard insult now used by the leftists for anyone who does not agree with their views.

Baldwin is not the only Hollywood celebrity who has called out those who voted for Trump. Forgotten TV actress Debra Messing, who starred in the mediocre TV sitcom “Will & Grace” called for the outing of those who support President Donald Trump. She justified the evil and fascistic move by saying that people have a right to know who is supporting the president.

Unfortunately for Baldwin and his fellow leftists, the name-calling of Trump supporters has no real effect. In fact, it has the opposite effect of what they desire. It would be remembered that Hillary Clinton branded Trump’s supporters as the “Basket of Deplorables” during the 2016 presidential campaign, and she lost miserably to Trump. Baldwin’s mocking of Trump supporters is bound to backfire since it would just motivate people to go out and vote.
