Actor Don Cheadle warned that if President Trump gets reelected, it “could end us all.” The actor made the statement through Twitter. He was responding to a tweet of a Bernie Sanders supporter who was disappointed after the senator from Vermont ended his campaign. The Sanders supporter whose handle name “Biden’s wandering hand” was a mocking reference to Joe Biden’s problematic history of dealing with women and young girls, was frustrated with the establishment Democrats who have shot down Bernie’s presidential ambitions for the second time.

“I think your handle is clear evidence that shots have been fired in both directions. especially on this platform.” Cheadle tweeted in response. He added, “now is not the time. If this pandemic has taught us anything, it’s that another Trump presidency could end us all.”

Cheadle is known for being very critical of President Trump. Last year, for example, he described Trump as the most frightening human being on the planet. He also said last year that he wanted to snap President Trump out of existence, a reference to the villain “Thanos” in the movie “Avengers: Endgame” in which he played a third-tier character.

Cheadle’s message to the Bernie Sanders supporters demonstrates the fear that many democrats have about how many of Sanders’ followers might not support Biden. It seems that Cheadle is willing to overlook the allegations of sexual harassment and the problematic behavior that Biden demonstrates when around children, which are actually caught on videos, just to beat Donald Trump.

Biden’s critics are also concerned regarding his mental state. Many are pointing out that the increasing number of gaffes that the former vice president is committing could be a sign of cognitive decline, not to mention that he is clearly in no position at all to face Donald Trump on the debate stage.

Even now, when all the other candidates have dropped off from the campaign, there is still some doubt if Biden will actually be the Democratic nominee. Some consider him to be just too weak a candidate to be fielded, and it’s still not clear when the Democratic National Convention will be held.
