During left-wing media, MSNBC’S “Deadline,” comedian and former Sen. Al Franken made a vicious claim, as he went on to declare that President Donald Trump was a “malignant narcissist” and that governors had to wait to for the president to “blow smoke up his butt to get their ventilator.”

During his media appearance, Franken described the situation as “tragic.” He explained that it was partly because the country would have avoided thousands of deaths as a result of the COVID-19 virus if Trump had carried out his role as a “president.” Instead, Franken believed that two months before the outbreak, Trump refused to acknowledge the looming threat of the virus, and had even downplayed it.

Franken continued to say that Trump was unable to do his job because he was busy doing a “reality show.” He said, “This guy really thinks the government is a reality show when the rest of America is dealing with this reality.” The former senator also claimed that Trump continued to do two things, one is to spread misinformation, and the second is to praise himself.

Moreover, Franken also questioned the president’s sanity. During the interview, the former lawmaker claimed that although he was not a “psychiatrist,” he believed that Trump was a “malignant narcissist.” Franken added that Trump could not help but boast about his positive ratings and to tell “governors that they have to blow smoke up his butt to get their ventilators. That’s what he’s doing. And this is sick.”

It is not the first time that the former senator had made claims that the United States president was a “narcissist.” Just last month, Franken claimed that Trump’s action during the coronavirus pandemic was definite proof that he was a “psychopath.” In a column on his website, Franken made the same accusations, admitting that although he was not a psychological expert, he still continued to believe that the president was “clinically insane.”

He wrote that Trump’s psychological diagnosis should be “ narcissistic personality disorder” and that it had been completely “weird” and “offensive” for the country to have him as president. He added that Trump’s mental illness gave way for him to become an “intellectual sloth,” and a “supremely confident jerk.”

Franken mischievously added that ”he was always right. Because he’s a psychopath”. The former senator explained that psychopaths do not believe that they have done anything wrong, even at the cost of thousands of American lives.

He also listed almost 20 missteps that the president had made during the ongoing pandemic and noted that sociopaths would try to hide their own mental illness. However, Franken claimed that Trump did not wish to do so. “It’s all right there for all of us to see, all the time,” Franken said.
