While the rest of the country tunes in to the latest updates and information about the deadly pandemic that had swept the nation, left-wing media outlets had been cutting away President Donald Trump’s coronavirus briefings. Even other Dem supporters chimed in and asked to stop the president’s daily broadcast.

In her recent Twitter post, comedian and outspoken Trump critic, Chelsea Handler, encouraged other media organizations to put a complete stop on Trump’s daily press conference. The comedian added that if the media is in search of something truthful, then they should air New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s press briefing instead.

In fact, Handler’s infatuation with the governor had gotten out of hand, that she even penned a love letter to Cuomo asking him to make her his first lady.

In another post, Handler sided with other left-wing media on whether the president’s briefing was both “safe” and “ethical.” She also continued to dismiss the president, claiming that his broadcasts do not help anyway and will only continue to spread “misinformation.” The actress said, “Is it responsible to air Trump’s briefings every day when he repeatedly gives Americans false information. We are in a pandemic, and you are helping spread his misinformation.” The comedian added, “You are not Fox.”

Since the deadly coronavirus had hit the country, President Donald Trump, along with his coronavirus task force, Dr. Fauci and Dr. Deborah Birx, have constantly been airing daily broadcasts from the White House. However, rather than provide clarity, media outlets have been collectively coming together to question Trump’s competence to handle the crisis.

In fact, MSNBC host Rachel Maddow admitted just last month that the network had refused to air the president’s full press conferences, saying that it “will only cost lives.” Even CNN had also decided to stop airing Trump’s daily press briefings. In a recent statement with the Associated Press, the network responded that they would only allow the broadcast if the White House issued an official request. Without doing so, the left-wing media outlet will continue to make their own “editorial decisions.”

Other major networks have also followed suit, including ABC News, NBC News, and CBS News, even cutting in with other programs while the president was in the middle of his speech.

In fact, media bias has been a constant issue that the president has to deal with for the entirety of the coronavirus pandemic. During the weekend’s press conference, Trump had also addressed left-wing media outlets, claiming that they should only spread fake news after the crisis has been resolved.

Then just last week, the president also had a heated exchange with CNN’s chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta for asking a “sneaky, snarky question.” During the press briefing, the correspondent asked the logic behind Trump’s decision leading to the weeks before the deadly pandemic.

Trump defended that his statements remain true and that the virus will eventually go away. He concluded that it is important for the public to remain calm, as the administration is doing everything it can to resolve the crisis.
