Comedian and actor Jack Black plan to take his Tenacious D rock-comedy duo on a state tour to “save the world from Trumpian destruction.”

After publicly announcing his support for Democratic candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Black intends to persuade swing states to keep Trump out of the White House. Along with his partner Kyle Gass, Black announced that “The Purple Nurple Tour—Twisted Hard to the Left” will kick off September 25 in Iowa and will travel on to states including Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Florida, and North Carolina.”

The comedian along with his musical partner described Trump as the worst president, saying that “[Trump is] the most divisive, corrupt and dangerous President in the modern history of this country, and we simply cannot stand for another four years of his administration! Now is the time to elect a REAL leader!” They said,“Knowing that, we looked at each other and agreed: just like the tale of Post-Apocalypto, it is time for Tenacious D to RIDE and help save the world from Trumpian destruction. With great rock comes great responsibility.”

As a response, some social media users simply commented, “Jack Black Who?”

Clayton Brakeville wrote: “Replying to @BreitbartNewsCome on! You remember him! He is Nacho libre. He is so intelligent and we should ALL follow his lead!”

Ed Burns also asked Black’s relevance “I thought he was eaten by a dinosaur, or King Kong?

Last Thursday, Black made his endorsement to Sen.Warren public. “Elizabeth Warren has a plan and I’M ALL IN.” Black also used the hashtag #WarrenTime.

The Jumanji star had been an outspoken Trump critic. In fact, during his speech for the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Black used the opportunity to bash Trump amidst his long list of “thank yous.” Before ending his speech, Black said “I love you all so much, Except for Donald Trump’s a piece of sh—! Peace out, love you!”

Then in November of 2018, Black posted a video of him and his fellow Tenacious D partner Kyle Gass in front of the White House wearing matching blue and red stripes wardrobes and Uncle Sam Hats. “The Government Totally Sucks,” the two comedians sang.
