Award-winning actress Mia Farrow claimed that Trump is in “rage” with Attorney General William Barr’s response, and will try to “hurt as many people as he can” in the process.

Farrow, who had been accused of child abuse before, wrote on her Twitter post, “Trump is in a rage - he will hurt as many people as he can.”

The actress also called Barr to resign. “AG Barr, given the fact that this president will not change, and assuming your statement is truthful—that it is ‘impossible’ to do your job, there is one honorable act remaining to you- resign.”

The incident ensued when the attorney general said in an interview with ABC News that Trump had never asked him to do anything in a criminal case. Barr said, “However, to have public statements and tweets made about the department, about our people in the department, our men and women here, about cases pending in the department, and about judges before whom we have cases, make it impossible for me to do my job and to assure the courts and the prosecutors in the department that we’re doing our work with integrity.”

Trump responded to Barr’s statement on Twitter by saying, “The President has never asked me to do anything in a criminal case, A.G. Barr. This doesn’t mean that I do not have, as President, the legal right to do so, I do, but I have so far chosen not to!” According to reports from the Washington Post, Barr’s close associates claimed that he was planning to resign after reading the President’s remarks. However, the department denied all the allegations on his resignation.

Farrow also used her social media influence to mock and insult the president. In one of her recent posts, the actress shared an article from the news media outlet, The Hill, in which she described Trump as a “Demented, cruel, corrupt, lying thug.”

The article referred to a statement in which Trump said “Comey lied, McCabe lied, Lisa Page lied, her lover Strzok, Peter Strzok lied. You don’t know who these people are? Just trust me, they all lied.”

As an outspoken Trump critic, Farrow had recently made her endorsement to Democratic socialist, Sen. Bernie Sanders, defending that his vision of a socialist America should be the right choice. However, Farrow remains doubtful on whether Sanders could beat Trump in the upcoming 2020 presidential elections.

She wrote: “I came to respect Bernie years ago- watching him on Bill Moyers outstanding program. I hope for the America he envisions. But this is also true- if he wins the Dem nomination, we will lose the WH.” Farrow added, “We need the votes of moderates, independents and disillusioned Republicans.”

Indeed, Farrow had admitted that things are not looking up for the Democratic party, as she wrote: “Bernie can win the nomination but the problem is that he can’t win the election.”
