Another citizen voiced concerns to Democratic 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden and he reacted the same way. He tried to shut them down and said, “go vote for someone else.”

The exchange happened during Biden’s campaign event in Iowa Tuesday.

“I’m gonna support you if you win the nomination because we’ve got to get rid of Trump, but what are we going to do about climate change?” the man asked. “Now, you say you’re against pipelines, but then you want to replace these gas lines, and that’s not gonna work. We’ve got to stop building and replacing pipelines.”

“Go vote for someone else, you’re not going to vote for mean the primary,” said Biden, as he moved in closer and prodded the man.

“I’m going to vote you in the general if you treat me right,” the man told Biden.

Biden told the man he was looking for primary supporters, not general election supporters. Biden assumed the man was a Bernie Sanders supporter so he began to criticize Sanders’ plan to tackle climate change. The man interrupted Biden and explained he actually supports Tom Steyer.

“Tom Steyer? Well that’s good,” Biden replied.
