In her interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Clinton still stands by her scorching comments against Democrat nominee Bernie Sanders.

In her new self titled Hulu documentary, Hillary Clinton lashes out on Bernie Sanders. From ageist remarks from the New York Times during their Democrat endorsement to Clinton’s snide remarks in her brand new film, it looks like the 2020 Democratic contender is at the receiving end of bad media coverage.

“He was in Congress for years,” Clinton says in an excerpt from the documentary. “He had one senator support him. Nobody likes him, nobody wants to work with him, he got nothing done. He was a career politician. It’s all just baloney and I feel so bad that people got sucked into it.

Clinton did not confirm if she would endorse Sanders. However, in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Clinton said that her statement against Sanders continues to hold up.

The issue flared up when Sanders told Sen. Elizabeth Warren in a private conversation in 2018 that a woman could not win the 2018 presidential elections. This happened during the height of Warren’s D-Ma.

As Clinton said in an interview, “Well, number one, I think is untrue, which we should all say loudly. I mean, I did get more votes both in the primary, by about 4 million, and in the general election, by about 3 million,” Clinton continued “But he said I was unqualified. I had a lot more experience than he did and got a lot more done than he had, but that was his attack on me.” As a response, Holly Otterbein of Politico released Bernie Sanders’ statement in a Twitter post. “My focus today is on a monumental moment in American history: The impeachment trial of Donald Trump,” said Bernie in a statement. “Together, we are going to go forward and defeat the most dangerous president in American history, ” Otterbein wrote.

Sanders had also received a backlash on alleged sexual harassment to Clinton during the 2016 presidential elections. This forced Sanders to issue an apology. However, other individuals questioned the motive of the documentary, especially with its timing.

Some even claim that Clinton’s move “echoes the erasure of diverse coalition.”

The bias against Sanders becomes even more apparent when Abby Phillip asked the Democrat contender if he would address allegations against his statement to Warren. “So, Senator Sanders, I do want to be clear here, you’re saying that you never told Senator Warren that a woman could not win the election?” Phillip asked Sanders. Sanders confirmed that he did not make such statements. Then, the CNN moderator asked Warren what she felt during the conversation, and if these allegations are completely true, “Senator Warren, what did you think when Senator Sanders told you a woman could not win the election?” Phillip said. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the full interview is included in a TV series, in which the former first lady had a 35-hour interview which will come out in March and will be available in Hulu.
