Christmas Movie on Netflix with Gay Jesus Causes International Outrage
A Christmas movie on Netflix has caused international outrage as it depicts Jesus as a gay man. The Brazilian film, which is also available on the streaming service in the United States, is called “The First Temptation of Christ” and was created by the Brazil-based YouTube comedy group Porta dos Fundos. It has caused such a stir among Christians that a change.org petition calling for Netflix to drop the movie has received almost 2 million signatures and counting.
I'll consider cancelling Netflix over The First Temptation of Christ. It goes too far. Highly offensive. Not even close to funny. What'd be funny: seeing Netflix stock value tumble.

Nolte: Netflix Releases ‘Gay Jesus’ Christmas Special https://t.co/1Ak09IPXkc via @BreitbartNews
The movie depicts Jesus as a closeted homosexual on Christmas. The plot of the movie involves Jesus, who is turning 30, bringing a ‘surprise guest’ to meet his family. The surprise guest is his gay lover.
Today my @NetflixUK subscription has been canceled in protest of a "Christmas special" that is extremely offensive to the values, principles and Cristian faith. “The First Temptation of Christ” is not a comedy show, but a cowardly and direct attack on all who profess this faith.

This is not the first time Porta dos Fundos has created a show mocking Christianity. Last year they created “The Last Hangover”, a parody of the Last Supper where the Apostles go looking for Jesus after the Last Supper ala the Hangover movies.
The Brazilian comedy group has mocked the petition and also released a statement saying, “Porta dos Fundos values artistic freedom and humor through satire on the most diverse cultural themes of our society and believes that freedom of expression is an essential construction for a democratic country.”
