In a field of wacky Democratic candidates running for president, being identified as hands-down the most wacky is really saying something. But, that is exactly what people have said about author and leftist Marianne Williamson. She helped solidify that title over the weekend as she tweeted a Fake News story about how it was “deeply sinister” for Predict Trump to pardon infamous mass murderer and cult leader, Charles Manson. However, this never happened.

The since deleted tweet came at 12:52am Monday morning and said, “There is something deeply sinister about Trump pardoning Charles Manson, even posthumously. Dog whistles of the very worst possible kind.” The tweet was apparently in reference to an article on the political satire site, moronmajority.com. She would later tweet an apology for tweeting such ridiculous and false nonsense but that tweet would also be quickly deleted.

Williamson, who describes herself in her twitter bio as an “Author, activist, non-denominational faith leader, founder of [The Williamson Institute]. 2020 candidate for President of the United States.” She has become well known for ridiculous and spacy answers she has provided during the first two democratic debates. She has not qualified for either of the last 2 debates though.
