Billionaire media-mogul Michael Bloomberg has doubled down on neutering the reporters who work for his news outlet. Following an internal memo last week where Bloomberg News management said reporters cannot investigate their boss or any other Democratic candidate any more, Bloomberg reiterated that in an interview with CBS News.

When asked about the policy of Bloomberg News to continue investigating President Trump but not any Democrats, Bloomberg responded by saying his alleged journalists will “just have to learn to live with some things.” He also said. “They get a paycheck, but with your paycheck comes some restrictions and responsibilities.”

While none are of the Bloomberg reporters are truly going on the record to protest the fact that they are no longer actually journalists, one did respond on twitter enough to make his feelings known. When a member of the real media reached out to ask an unnamed Bloomberg reporter how they felt about the situation, they responded with a poop emoji. There have also been several reporters who have said this is ridiculous off the record.
