Speaker of the House and impeachment witch hunt leader Nancy Pelosi was asked at a CNN Town Hall about why she supported impeachment against President Trump now yet did not when the Mueller Report came out or when the left wing was calling for the impeachment of President George W. Bush during the Iraq War in the early 2000s.

Pelosi answered the Bush and Trump questions directly but unexpectedly veered off course and started talking about the Clinton impeachment as well. She said that “They impeached Bill Clinton for personal indiscretion and misrepresenting about it,” she continued to say that they impeached, “Clinton for being stupid in terms of something like that.”

She continued excusing Clinton and his sexual misconduct saying, “’I mean, I love him, I think he was a great president, but being stupid in terms of that, what would somebody do.” She quickly cut herself off after that saying, “not to embarrass their family, but in any event, so they did Bill Clinton, now they want me to do George Bush, I didn’t want it to be a way of life in our country.”

It is ironic that Pelosi used the term “misrepresenting: when talking about the Clinton impeachment because that is exactly what she did in this Town Hall. Clinton was actually impeached for perjury to a grand jury and obstruction of justice relating to his lying to congress about his gross sexual misconduct with a White House intern in the Oval Office.

It is no surprise that no one at CNN or the Town Hall called out the Speaker for defending the former presidents sexual misconduct or mischaracterizing the reasons he was impeached. The event was hosted by noted Trump-hater Jake Tapper. CNN also advertised that the 11 audience question-askers were made up of 8 Democrats, 2 Independents, and 1 Republican.
