First Lady Melania Trump shared “The Spirit of America” video on social media on Sunday, which unveiled the gorgeous 2019 Christmas decorations at the White House. The video begins with the First Lady opening the first day of an advent calendar, followed by scenes of a gold and white tree, a hall fo snowflakes, a hall of beautifully decorated white and gold trees, a tiny replica of the White House, and more. The White House wrote, “this year’s theme is a tribute to the traditions, customs, and history that make America great.”

Ed Mazza of Huffington Post showed his TDS by writing, “Melania Trump’s White House Christmas Decor Compared To A Scene In ‘The Shining’”

Washington Post writer Robin Givhan shamelessly attacked Melania’s coat, “Melania Trump’s Christmas decorations are lovely, but that coat looks ridiculous.”

People Magazine’s Benjamin VanHoose took a jab at Melania’s choices for last year’s decorations with a headline that read: “Melania Trump Debuts New White House Christmas Decorations After Last Year’s Meme-able Blood-Red Decor”

Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) noted some of the First Lady’s critics, their lack of awareness of how bad it makes them look, and how it damaging it is to their profession. Rubio tweeted screen shots of headlines and wrote, “Even the @WhiteHouse Christmas decorations triggers deranged criticism. Does anyone in the world of major media have enough self awareness to realize the damage their hatred of @realdonaldtrump is inflicting on them & journalism?”
