Klobuchar Compares President Trump to Nixon and Calls Ukraine Scandal Global Watergate
Democratic presidential “candidate” Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) said in an interview with NBC’s Chuck Todd that President Trump’s behavior is comparable to the actions of President Richard Nixon’s, but on a larger scale. She called the Ukraine scandal a “Global Watergate”.

She went even further by saying this is what James Madison and the Founding Fathers meant when they said that they feared the president would betray the trust of the American people to a foreign power.

The middling to bottom-tier candidate also offered excused as to why her fundraising numbers have been so unimpressive. She said, “I’m not as well known. I’m never going to be able to compete with two billionaires, that is true. I’m not going to be able to buy this thirty-some million-dollar ad buy.” This was a reference to late Democratic entrants Tom Steyer and Michael Bloomberg.
