Famously old and crank Hollywood liberal Robert De Niro took aim at President Trump in an interview with Stephen Colbert on his late-night talk show. In the interview, he called President Trump a “fake president”, a “gangster”, and said that living through this presidency was “like living in an abusive household.

This was not the first time the aging actor has lashed out against the President. In interviews in the last month alone he has called President Trump “dangerous”, a “low-life”, and a president who is “going to ruin this country”. He has told GQ the President is “beyond a horrible person”, “worse than we ever thought he would be”, and said, “He’s an idiot. He’s a fool. He’s a buffoon. He’s silly. He’s tacky. He’s dangerous.”

De Niro did say that there are Democratic politicians he likes. He told Colbert, “To me, Bloomberg might be the one. I love Buttigieg.” But, he ultimately ended up endorsing Bloomberg saying, “I like Bloomberg, he’s an adult, he’s a grown-up. He’s run the city for 12 years. I know there are things he did, you mentioned them on the show, but he’s done good things and he tries to do the right thing.”
