The least well-known and interesting host of the daytime talk show The View decided to wait until after Donald Trump Jr left The View set last week to take cheap shots. Sonny Hostin went after the First Son on social media instead of having the guts to do it in person when Trump Jr. courageously went on the left wing chat show last week.

Trump Jr. posted a host of fact-checking articles on Twitter after his appearance to back up his claims with facts. Apparently, Hostin was not interested in doing the same as she falsely made accusations on the show about the Ukraine transcript and the whistleblower.

Hostin decided to respond to this article be taking a shot at Trump Jr. about his “illegal” activities with the Trump Foundation. She then doubled down by posting another article about the Trump Foundation and tagging the First Son again.

Not one to take pot-shots lying down, Trump tweeted back a zinger asking her how she felt about her network pressuring another network to fire a whistleblower like ABC did with CBS and the leaked Amy Robach tapes. Hostin had no response to the Trump Jr. tweet.

Trump Jr. has been widely praised for his appearance of the talk show where all the hosts, including “Republican” Meghan McCain, lean somewhere from slightly to radically left. He was able to stand his ground, defend himself and his family and even call the hosts out on their own misdeeds such as Whoopi Goldberg calling what pedophile Roman Polanski did, not “rape rape”. He also called out Joy Behar for donning blackface when she was 29 .
