“The Squad” and other Top Dems Refuse to Congratulate President Trump on Successful al-Baghdadi Mission
In a daring nighttime raid of ISIS founder and leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi’s secret compound by U.S. Delta Force and Rangers, the U.S. was able to finally eliminate one of the greatest threats to American safety at home and around the globe. This is one of the biggest military victories in the entire War on Terrorism and easily the biggest since the killing of 9/11 mastermind Osama bin Laden.
Thank you @POTUS for keeping your promise to relentlessly pursue these enemies of our country. This is an important reminder to pray every day for our military who risk their lives to protect us and other countries. https://t.co/FQ5SJdVO9T

While Democrats around the country tripped over themselves in 2011 to congratulate then President Obama for his success, many of the top Democrats who routinely bash President Trump were notably silent on social media.
The self-proclaimed “Squad” of socialist, left-wing Trump haters tweeted nothing about the killing of the ISIS leader. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) only tweeted about her Green New Deal. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) also mentioned the Green New Deal since the mission but also tweeted about the 1 year anniversary of “the deadliest anti-Semitic attack in our nation’s history at the Tree of Life Synagogue.” Commenters wondered why she wouldn’t talk about the victory over ISIS as well.
This is what climate change looks like.

The GOP like to mock scientific warnings about climate change as exaggeration. But just look around: it’s already starting.
We have 10 years to cut carbon emissions in half. If we don’t, scenes like this can get much worse. #GreenNewDeal https://t.co/GNvk7DYFJT
1 year ago we witnessed the deadliest anti-Semitic attack in our nation’s history at the Tree of Life Synagogue. Holding the victims and survivors in my heart today.

We must confront the hateful ideology of white nationalism and treat it like the national security threat it is.
Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) tweeted about Bernie Sanders as well as support for the disrespectful signs and booing at the Washington National’s World Series Game. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) also tweeted out memories of the Tree of Life attack with no mention of victory over terrorists abroad.
Boy do I love our veterans who not only fight against foreign threats, but against domestic ones too. #ImpeachTrumpNow

One year ago we were robbed of the lives of 11 people at the #TreeofLifeSynagogue. We say their names, we hold their loved ones close, we denounce the hatred, white supremacy and antisemitism that drove this heartless terrorist attack. May we fight for true and lasting change.

This historic raid was made even more meaningful because of its operational code name. It was named after Kayla Mueller, a 26-year-old American who was kidnapped, tortured, raped and, killed by al Baghdadi in 2015.
The operation that killed ISIS leader was named after Kayla Mueller, an American hostage who was captured by ISIS, tortured, raped by al-Baghdadi himself and then murdered.

Mueller refused to renounce her Christian faith while being an ISIS captive. May her memory be a blessing. pic.twitter.com/K3Xd50k4vU
