Liberals Go Nuts on CNN for Hiring a Republican
As a whistleblower proved recently, The Fake News Network, CNN, does not hire many Republicans or conservative voices. Monday was a perfect example of why. CNN announced the hiring of former Republican congressman Sean Duffy and liberals went crazy!
Duffy, a former MTV Real World cast member, represented his home state of Wisconsin in the House of Representatives for over 8 years. In August of 2019, he stepped down to help his wife, Rachel Campos-Duffy, also a former Real World cast member, care for their nine children. The youngest child was recently born with sever health problems.
As someone with a background in television, it made sense that a news network would hire him as a contributor now that he was out of office. The fact that he is a Trump supporter though made liberals on social media outraged.
In posts, Duffy was called every name in the book including “bonkers”, “a loon”, a “Trump apologist”, “morally reprehensible”, and more. They even changed his Wikipedia page to say that Duffy is a “conspiracy theorist” in the first sentence. Liberals also immediately called for his firing and attacked Duffy for getting a job to support his family after stepping down from congress.
Here is a sampling of the tweets from left wingers going crazy:
Wow. I didn’t think CNN could find a more bonkers pro Trump contributor than Rick Santorum but they did with Sean Duffy...complete conspiracy theorist. #CNNSOTU

Oh good, CNN has hired conspiracy loon Sean Duffy as a contributor. Marvelous. Can't wait to hear his defense of Tulsi.

Sean Duffy? Seriously? @JohnBerman @NewDay @CNN PLEASE dump this guy! He is HORRIBLE. Who’s next, Jim Jordan? Mark Meadows? No more Trump apologists. Makes me sick.

Sean Duffy is factually wrong and morally reprehensible - he resigned from elected office using disabled newborn as an excuse.

When was he offered the gig as CNN contributor? What other job offers has he gotten before and since he quit his job?#wiright #wiunion #wipolitics https://t.co/uI2tNVye0R
This guy had a kid less than 3 weeks ago that allegedly was so unhealthy that he had to quit Congress to help raise it.
