It was around this time in 2018 that Senator Elizabeth Warren released her DNA results that showed she had some distant Native American ancestry.

USA Today wrote: “Warren changed her ethnicity from white to Native American at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she worked from 1987 to 1995. She began working as a tenured professor at Harvard University Law School in 1995. Four months after she started, she changed her ethnicity from white to Native American in Harvard’s human resources system, according to the Globe”

Warren’s family folklore says that her great-great-great-grandmother was part Cherokee, which would make Warren 1/32nd Native American. But if her Native American ancestry goes back ten generations that would only make her 1/1024th Native American, according to The Globe.

A reporter asked Warren why she listed herself as an American Indian on a Texas bar application. She explained that she grew up believing her family story. “It’s important to know I am not a tribal citizen,” said Warren.

It’s also important to know that this woman lies often to get ahead.
