Woman Suggests “Eating Babies” to Help with Climate Change at AOC Event
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez held a town hall meeting in Corona, Queens to listen to and discuss the issues with her supporters. While there were many far left topics discussed, one woman went further than most. The woman got up and praised AOC for her support of the Green New Deal but said that was not going far enough. She suggested we need to “start eating babies” to solve the climate change issue.
Seems like a normal AOC supporter to me. https://t.co/NWVMRD0wsl

Donald Trump Jr. tweeted out the video and, like many, noted that this woman seemed like a “normal AOC supporter” for her irrational and excessive views. The President retweeted his son’s tweet and added that “AOC is a Wack Job”.

AOC responded to both the woman and the President on twitter. She theorized, with no evidence, that the woman suffered from a mental condition and scolded the “right wing” for making fun of her. She then called President Trump a “criminal who betrays our country.”
This person may have been suffering from a mental condition and it’s not okay that the right-wing is mocking her and potentially make her condition or crisis worse. Be a decent human being and knock it off.

Better than being a criminal who betrays our country. https://t.co/UnShA6gcQQ

The political satire group, the LaRouche Cult is now taking credit for the stunt, saying that they were referencing an 18th century Jonathan Swift work that said the Irish should eat their babies to combat famine. When AOC found out this group took credit for it she labeled the woman a “Trump supporter” and refused to back off the mental illness claims, still with no evidence, but at least admitted that a doctor should be the one making those kinds of diagnoses.
Turns out the woman yelling was a Trump supporter 🤷🏽♀️

Doesn’t rule out potential mental issue (Drs do that) but good to know they were not in crisis.
Earlier this year I was stalked & very nearly hurt by a disturbed person. I don’t take chances & immediately try to de-escalate. https://t.co/kgWFvigJhy
