Al Franken has had an incredibly diverse career. First as a writer on Saturday Night Live, then as a cast member, and finally as a Democratic Senator from Minnesota. He apparently has also spent his entire career groping young women.

Franken was forced to resign from the Senate in 2017 after pictures came to light of him groping the breast of sleeping TV and radio host Leann Tweeden during a USO tour. Since that photo, multiple other woman came forward and described similar experiences being groped by the lecherous comedian.

In an article in the week’s New York magazine, a ninth woman came forward to add her name to the list of women who have been inappropriately touched by Franken. She was working for another Senator at the time and claims Franken groped her during a photo op. The woman said the incident “rocked my confidence” and when she reported it to her boss, she felt ostracized. This is why she has not come forward until now.

The news comes shortly after Franken seemed on the verge of a career resurgence. Last week SiriusXM Radio announced that they were giving the disgraced Senator a weekly radio show. He was also slated to bring his left wing humor to SiriusXM’s coverage of the 2020 election. There is no word yet on whether the satellite radio company still plans to go forward with Franken’s show.
