Top Democratic donor and LGBTQ activist Ed Buck was arrested yesterday after a third man in the last year overdosed at his West Hollywood home in the last two years. The first two victims passed away while his latest survived.

Buck, 65, is now charged with felony battery causing serious injury, administering methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house. Police believe the so-called Democratic “megadonor” has been luring homeless men to his house and injecting them with methamphetamines in order to take advantage of them sexually for years.

There were no charges brought against Buck in the first two deaths at his apartment, that of 26-year-old Gemmel Moore in 2017 and 55-year-old Timothy Michael Dean in January 2019. Each time the death was ruled accidental but drug paraphernalia and sex toys were found by authorities at his home each time.

According to ABC News, Los Angeles prosecutors had some incredibly damning and strong words about Buck upon his arrest after drugging his latest victim.

In court documents filed Tuesday, prosecutors described Buck as a “violent, dangerous sexual predator,” with “no regard for human life,” who “mainly preys on men made vulnerable by addiction and homelessness.” Prosecutors alleged he uses narcotics, money and shelter as bait to draw victims into his home.

“From his home, in a position of power, Buck manipulates his victims into participating in his sexual fetishes,” prosecutors wrote in court documents. “These fetishes include supplying and personally administering dangerously large doses of narcotics to his victims.”

Buck has been a prominent Democratic donor and activist since the mid-1980s. He has given large sums of money to national campaigns by the likes of Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama as well as many campaigns of California Democrats running for various offices.

It has been pointed out by many on social media that this story is incredibly disturbing yet has been under covered by the mainstream media. Many are wondering how a horrific story like this would be covered if Buck’s politics leaned in the other direction.
