Dozens of Murderers, Sex Offenders, and Gang Members Arrested By Border Agents in October and November
Since October, U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents arrested dozens of convicted murderers, sex offenders, and violent gang members as they attempted to enter the United States illegally.
A total of 292 illegal aliens with prior criminal convictions were arrested by Border Patrol in the month of October. Agents encountered 307 who had outstanding warrants or were wanted by law enforcement.
“Every day, criminal aliens attempt to illegally enter the United States between the ports of entry, often concealing themselves among families or taking a role of a parent with a child during this humanitarian crisis,” said El Paso Border Patrol Sector Interim Chief Gloria Chavez. “The men and women of the U.S. Border Patrol are our first line of defense in identifying these criminals further protecting every city, county, and community across our nation.”
Remember when Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said she wanted to do away with the Department of Homeland Security, which includes Customs and Border Protection and Immigration and Customs Enforcement?
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) criticized U.S. Customs and Border Protection and said she we should talk about “eliminating their existence.”
