Rasmussen Reports released a poll on Thursday, which showed that many minority voters across America are concerned about the lack of police officers in their communities. The survey showed that 84% of blacks who are likely voters said they are concerned about the shortage of police in their communities while 70% of other minorities have the same fear. For whites, it was 66% who shared the same concern.

The polls were focused on how voters feel about the attacks on police officers and the effects of those attacks. Of all the people surveyed, 59 % said they believe there is an ongoing war against police happening in the country. That was just 43% two years ago. “Following the assassination attempt on two Los Angeles County police officers this past weekend, most whites, blacks, and other minority voters are in general agreement that there is a war on police in America today,” Rasmussen Reports said in a statement.

The survey also found that 59% of likely voters say that they would support the enactment of Blue Lives Matter law in their state. Such a law would mean that attacks on police would be considered as a hate crime which would incur harsher penalties.

Rasmussen also noted that “Sizable majorities in most demographic categories worry that deadly attacks on the police will lead to a shortage of cops and reduce public safety in their community.” This just shows that most people support the police and are not in favor of defunding, let alone abolishing the police departments in their cities. It also proves that the Democrats are wrong to support the Black Lives Matter and Antifa activists who are calling for actions against the police. This is part of why voters are starting to switch over to Republicans, especially President Donald Trump.

Joe Biden and his running mate have refused to condemn the action of the rioters who have caused so much damage, and now they are causing death, with the lives of police officers all over the country under threat because of thugs targeting them.
