On Saturday, former President Barack Obama trashed President Donald Trump during his commencement speech for the 2020 graduates. However, Trump refused to back down and hit back on Obama’s “incompetence.”

Instead of honoring the graduates, the former President made politically charged accusations during his speech. While Obama did not directly mention Trump, he snidely remarked how the current government failed the graduating class. He said, “More than anything, this pandemic has fully finally turned back the curtain on the idea that so many of the folks in charge know what they’re doing.” He added, “A lot of them aren’t even pretending to be in charge.”

Obama continued to say that the majority will agree and believe in his statements. He also challenged the graduates to find unity, warning that people in power will continue to encourage partisanship in the government.

The former President’s speech was meant to give recognition to historic black college and university graduates, as the current situation prohibited the class from holding a regular graduation ceremony. Obama continued to say that while most of the students had spent their semester in what he called “Zoom university,” he reminded them that it should still serve as a proud moment for everyone.

He was later joined by staunch Hollywood leftists, including Chris Paul, Debbie Allen, Kevin Hart, Steve Harvey, Common the rapper, and Vivica Fox. They had also invited Democratic politicians, such as Sen. Kamala Harris and Sen. Tim Scott.

In his speech, Obama encouraged the 2020 graduates to continue fighting for the Democratic propaganda of economic and environmental justice. He also urged them to advocate for more accessible healthcare. Again, Obama remarked that the “system that looks out for the rich and the powerful and nobody else.” He went on to use the virus as an opportunity, claiming that hopefully, people would have an understanding of how vulnerable black communities are, and how they continued to suffer. He reminded everyone how important it is to reach out to people who share the same struggle. Obama even declared that as African-Americans, they are prone to “injustice” and “inequality.”

The President immediately responded to Obama’s accusation that he had done nothing to resolve the ongoing pandemic. “Look, he was an incompetent president, that’s all I can say,” Trump told reporters. He simply added that Obama was just “Grossly incompetent.”

Moreover, despite Obama’s inspiring speech, Trump was able to close in the economic gap between whites and African-Americans. In fact, before the health and the economic crisis, the US economy was doing well, specifically among people of color.

Just last week, The Patriot Hill reported the news about the Obamagate scandal, as the recently declassified evidence revealed how Obama, along with his top admin officials orchestrated, then-incoming National Security Advisor, Michael Flynn into a “perjury trap” as well as propagating allegations of Russian collusion.
