Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) stunned the hosts and the audience on The View when he came out ready to fight. After being announced, Gaetz asked Behar, “I was just wondering if you were wearing black as a consequence of, like, the death of the political left in the debate last night.” Behar responded quickly to not “count the dead yet.”

Gaetz immediately brought up former Vice President Joe Biden by jokingly saying he was “hoping Whoopi’s bell could wake up the Biden campaign.”

37-year-old Gaetz didn’t miss a beat in the first minute of the show, leaving the other co-hosts speechless.

Behar defended Biden by saying she didn’t think “he did any harm to himself.”

Gaetz then asked, “What states is he going to win?” Then added the whole premise of the Biden campaign was his “electability,” but he’s failed to win in the Iowa and New Hampshire primaries.

Gaetz argued they won’t nominate a Democrat, but rather socialist Bernie Sanders or billionaire Michael Bloomberg.

The co-hosts and Gaetz debated on whether President Trump should pardon Roger Stone.

Gaetz said, “I do, and I think it requires a review of the pardon power.”

Co-host Meghan McCain called Stone, “the swampiest swap creature.”

“Barack Obama pardoned over 1,700 people. Bill Clinton pardoned 459 people. Bill Clinton pardoned 16 people who were members of a Puerto Rican terrorist organization that planned murders at the Bronx Tavern here in the United States of America,” said Gaetz.

“I would agree that Roger Stone should be pardoned,” Gaetz added. “If for no other reason than there has been a double standard in this country where people like Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Andrew McCabe, Clapper, Brennan have not faced consequences.”
