President Trump will be the grand marshal for the Daytona 500, known as “The Great American Race,” and some are saying he might do a victory lap in his limousine known as “The Beast.”

Trump would be the first sitting or former president named grand marshal of the Daytona 500 to announce the traditional command, “start your engines.”

Fox News reported the U.S. Secret Service will be securing the Daytona International Speedway and the presidential security branch confirmed drones will be banned within a 30-mile radius of the event at the Daytona International Speedway.

Chip Wile, president of the Daytona International Speedway said in a statement, “Daytona International Speedway has been privileged to have hosted several sitting Presidents of the United States over our history. We’re honored that the President of the United States has chosen to experience the pageantry and excitement of ‘The Great American Race’ by attending Sunday’s 62nd annual Daytona 500.”

Sources told Fox News that Trump will be taking a lap around the speedway in his armored car.
