Joe Biden was asked by Mike Allen of Axios about his son Hunter’s position at Ukraine’s largest private oil and gas producer, Burisma.

Biden answered, “I don’t know what he was doing. I know he was on the board. I found out he was on the board after he was on the board. And that was it. I trust my son.”

Hunter was discharged from the Navy Reserve for using drugs in February 2014, and in May of the same year, Hunter was hired to sit on the board of Burisma earning over $50,000 per month.

How could Joe Biden say he did not know what his son was doing on the board of Burisma from April of 2014 until April 2019? Joe was the Vice President and the point person of the Obama administration’s policy on Ukraine, and he knew about Burisma being investigated for money laundering.

Vice President Joe Biden pressured the then Ukraine President Pedro Poroshenko to force special prosecutor  Viktor Shokin to resign by holding back $1 billion in aid.

Shokin was investigating Burisma for money laundering and was prepared to interview Hunter in the summer of 2016.

Shokin told One America News, “He came to me and said, ‘You are a patriot of Ukraine. We need this billion dollars. We are at war and if you are a patriot, you will close this case.”

“Poroshenko called me and said, ‘Listen this all has to stop already. Joe Biden’s temper is overflowing,” Shokin said. After Burisma’s assets were seized, Poroshenko asked Shokin to resign.

Shokin explained, “Because of Biden. Everyone knew what was going on. Poroshenko told me directly that I had to step down as prosecutor general because of Joe Biden.”

Shokin swore in an affidavit that he had to resign because he refused to drop the probe into Burisma. He wrote: “The truth is that I was forced out because I was leading a wide-ranging corruption probe into Burisma Holdings, a natural gas firm active in Ukraine, and Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, was a member of the Board of Directors.”
