President Trump recently offered a $20 million reward for information on the whereabouts of missing FBI agent Robert Levinson. The agent has been missing for over a decade since disappearing on a mission in 2007. Now, for the first time, Iran has admitted they have the American citizen.

Iran filed paperwork with the United Nations saying they had an “ongoing” case in their court system involving the American Levinson. There was no information about the charges, the status of the case, or why it has not been settled in 12 years.

Levinson’s family has been very thankful to President Trump and the current administration with one of his daughters saying, “We’re encouraged. This administration is engaged and completely committed to bringing my dad home. They’ve taken it as a personal mission. I think they care passionately about bringing my dad and other Americans home.”

On the 40th anniversary of the Iran Hostage Crisis, the administration is renewing their commitment to help bring all missing American service people home. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has said, “The Trump administration has made clear that the regime in Iran must release all missing and wrongfully detained Americans, including Robert Levinson, Xiyue Wang, Siamak Namazi and others. We will not rest until they are reunited with their families.”
