Joe Biden is asking for donations from his supporters to cover the expenses of his transition team. This comes after the Republicans and President Donald Trump continue to protest the conduct of the presidential election. Biden has not officially been declared as the winner but his media backers have declared him as the president-elect. His team has started to run campaigns on social media asking for donations.

One of the ads says that “Because President Trump refuses to concede and is delaying the transition, we have to fund it ourselves and need your help. If you’re able, chip in to help fund the Biden-Harris transition.”

The President claims that the media declaring Biden to be the winner is improper since it undermines the electoral process because the election is still being disputed. Their calling it for Biden can cause a problem if it is later proven that there has been massive fraud and that it is the President who won. Those who oppose the President can then use that as an excuse to undermine his administration. It appears that has been their plan all along. They want to go ahead and declare Biden to be the winner so most people will just accept it and just go on with their lives.

There is still a good chance that the President will turn out to be the winner. In Arizona for example, Biden’s lead has gone down to 11,000 votes already. It is possible that it would turn out that the President won there. That is not the only state that is being closely monitored now. He has very narrow leads in Georgia, Wisconsin, Nevada, and Pennsylvania. All of those states are very crucial for Biden to win the White House.

Biden has not been officially recognized by the General Services Administration as the president-elect which is needed for the transition process to start. Biden and the Democrats’ claim that he is the president-elect is erroneous and can only lead to problems later on.
