On Saturday, former Vice President and Democratic nominee Joe Biden only managed to draw a crowd of 130 cars during Saturday’s drive-in rally at the Bucks County Community College in Newtown, Pennsylvania.

In a report from the New York Post, the media outlet claimed that the Democratic nominee only managed to gather a few handfuls of cars at his weekend rally. Unfortunately, this is not the first time that Biden, and his running mate, Kamala Harris struggled with low supporter turnout in their campaign events.

On the other hand, Trump supporters managed to attend the event. In a Twitter post by CNN host MJ Lee, the journalist described the MAGA supporters as “rowdy” while they honked their horns and waved pro-Trump flag while Biden delivered his speech.

Moreover, the nominee’s lackluster campaign seemed to continue, despite the help from his A-list supporters, including former Democratic President, Barack Obama. In an effort to help with the Democrat’s campaign, Obama held a drive-in rally at Florida International University in Miami. Unfortunately, even the former President’s failed to get the supporter turn-out they wanted, with only 228 cars and 400 people total. The number of attendees were listed by Biden campaign journalist Tim Perry, “According to the Biden-Harris campaign there are 228 cars (400 people) at this Obama drive-in rally.”

The Democrat’s campaign failed to gather momentum, despite the fact that the election was just nine days away. In fact, the low supporter turn-out might have been the reason why Biden’s campaign team decided to close the “lid” in their in-person campaign. According to Breitbart News, the term “lid” usually meant that the campaign team will no longer hold media appearances such as press conferences and other news releases.

However, Biden’s campaign team claimed that the decision was not a “full-lid” since the nominee will speak in an upcoming virtual “I will vote” concert.

Biden’s bleak schedule came in contrast with his opponent, President Donald Trump’s campaign. In fact, the President continued to have a tight schedule despite having an earlier COVID-19 diagnosis. For example, on Sunday alone, Trump went on to attend a rally in New Hampshire, and then traveled to Maine. That same day, the President went back to the White House to host a Halloween event for kids with First Lady Melania Trump.

Furthermore, Trump had gained notoriety for hosting large rallies. In fact, the President boasted that he managed to gather a crowd of 35,000-40,000 supporters. Even the left-wing media, Washington Post, confirmed that the President’s attendees were in thousands.
