Celebrities Go Naked To Make People Vote
In another demonstration of just how out of touch and narcissistic most Hollywood celebrities are, some of them have started a campaign to convince people to vote by taking their clothes off. With millions of Americans still dealing with real-world problems like losing their job or getting infected with COVID-19, some Hollywood celebrities thought that this is the best thing that they can contribute right now. Ireland Baldwin, the daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, posted photos of her on Instagram in which she was topless. She used “I Voted” stickers as pasties. Jared Leto also went naked to convince people that they should vote. Kylie Jenner, while she didn’t actually go fully nude, posted a picture of her in a bikini, with the caption, “let’s make a plan to vote together.”
They are just the latest celebrities to go naked to boost voter turnout. Earlier this month Sarah Silverman, Tiffany Haddish, Amy Schumer, Josh Gad, and other famous Hollywood personalities decided that going naked in front of the camera is the best way to convince Americans to go out and vote.
They did not explain how their nakedness will help convince people to go out and vote. This is just another attempt for these celebrities to drive more attention to them. In the middle of the pandemic, more and more Americans realize that they don’t really need actors, professional athletes, and other overpaid celebrities. Many of these personalities think so highly of themselves they actually believe that if they tell other people to go out and vote, people will follow.
It’s also another attempt to get more attention to them. Now that many productions are on hold, they are not getting the usual attention they love so much. This is one way for them to get people to notice them again. Many of them don’t really care about politics, they just want to make some noise, so people will pay attention to them.
