On Thursday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi lashed out against MAGA supporters stating that Republicans are “uneducated” and “sad” when she was asked to respond to the news that many American voters favor the President winning the 2020 general elections.

The House speaker spoke in an interview for the left-wing media outlet MSNBC’s Morning Joe. Pelosi responded to a question in which she claimed that 46 percent of American voters believed it was “okay” for the President to win his re-election bid.

Pelosi shot back, “I don’t think the president has any idea of what the truth is. I think that he thinks the truth is what he says, so it’s a sad situation.” The House Speaker questioned how it is possible that 46 percent of Americans thought it is “okay” for Trump to remain as the country’s president. Pelosi then went on to say that while she does not necessarily suggest that Trump supporters are “uneducated,” she felt “sad” for them, and how they did not realize that the President had disregarded the Constitution. The House Speaker then continued that the President’s lack of regard for the law also speaks of the people who continue to support him.

In a separate press conference, Pelosi also shot down a reporter who wanted to address Hunter’s dubious deals with foreign interests. Despite the massive issues in the party, Pelosi remained confident that the Democratic Party would win both the White House as well as the two houses in Congress.

Earlier this month, Pelosi also shared their plans to invoke the 25th amendment to push Trump out of the White House. Following the news of the President’s diagnosis, the House Speaker suggested the possibility that in the event of the President’s death, the Vice President will take over.

She also announced that the Democrats have both shared their plan to review whether the President is capable of carrying out his duty and whether he should be removed from the White House. Pelosi even went as far as to introduce a bill alleging that Trump is suffering from a “dissociation from reality” to remove him from the White House before the November elections.
