In a social media post, former MSNBC host Touré Neblett asked “Black Twitter” on which is more satisfying to watch, Brad Parscale’s arrest, or a mother who was tased while watching her son’s football game.

On Monday, Neblett wrote, “which video was more satisfying to watch—Brad Parscale being forcefully tackled and arrested by police or that white woman being tasered and arrested at her kid’s football game for refusing to wear a mask?”

Neblett was referring to two separate incidents. One was the mental health arrest of former Trump campaign manager, Brad Parscale on Sunday. In a report from The Patriot Hill, law enforcement officers responded to a call from Parscale’s wife, Candice. She reported that the former campaign manager had been acting “irate” and “crazy.” Candice went on to say that she immediately ran out of the house after Parscale loaded a gun.

Unfortunately, while Democrats advocate for mental health awareness, they were willing to make an exception for Parscale. In fact, Democrat congressional candidate Bob Lynch mocked and made fun of his arrest.

In a separate incident, a law enforcement officer also tased and handcuffed a mom in Ohio after she failed to wear a mask at her son’s football game. The woman, who was identified as Alecia Kitts, was violently tased and dragged by a male officer. According to Tiffany Kennedy, the person who had filmed the arrest, she noted that the police officer immediately barged in and arrested Kennedy without any warning. Kennedy claimed that the taser had also hit another child who was sitting at the bleachers. What’s worse is that he had observed that a female officer who had responded to the incident was also not wearing a mask, but only wore one when she was approaching her comrade.

Kitts’ Attorney also defended that there was no need for a violent arrest, given that it was a low-risk event. Her lawyer claimed that the Ohio mom was alone with her children, in an open-air event, and was seated six feet away from everyone else and that “thus, she broke no Ohio law, not even the Governor’s own legally-dubious health directives upon which the school relied.”

In 2019 Nebett’s co-worker who goes by the name ‘danimakeup’ wrote a comment on his Instagram post. The social media user accused the former MSNBC host of sexual harassment while she was working with him in 2017 at Time Inc. show. The social media user alleged that Neblett had constantly asked her if she was willing to do “anal sex” with him. He also made several explicit questions, including how she would look naked, and if she was willing to have sex with him over the weekend. She continued that she had become increasingly concerned about Neblett’s behavior and had asked other crew members to be with her whenever she and the host were in the same room. After the said incident, the social media user claimed that she had reported the incident, leading to Neblett being fired from the show.

However, Neblett’s spokesperson denied the accusation, stating that the host left Time because his contract had ended.

However, the host himself did not outrightly deny the accusation. In a statement, Neblett claimed that oftentimes, he and his other co-workers would engage in an “edgy, crass banter,” which can sometimes turn offensive. He went on to apologize to the social media user if he had made her uncomfortable. “As a lead on the show, I should have refrained from this behavior. I have learned and grown from this experience,” Neblett said.
