Chrissy Teigen was one of the first celebrities to say she was done with Goya products after the company’s CEO praised President Donald Trump during a White House ceremony in July. Now the model-influencer is being mocked as a hypocrite after a can of Goya beans was spotted in her Instagram feed.

Model, influencer, and very vocal Trump critic Chrissy Teigen is being mocked on the internet as a hypocrite after she was seen using a can of Goya beans a month after she declared to boycott the product.

Singer John Legend’s wife, Teigen, was one of the celebrities who declared that she was done using and supporting Goya products after the beans’ CEO showed his support for President Donald Trump.

Last month, Goya CEO Robert Unanue appeared at a Rose Garden event where President Trump signed an executive order on his Hispanic Prosperity Initiative. “Mr. President, what can I tell you? I’m so blessed to be here in the most prosperous country in the world, the greatest country in the world,” Unanue said. He added that he feels so blessed to have President Trump as America’s leader. His remarks attracted negative reactions from the left, including firebrand lawmaker Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and former presidential candidate Julian Castro.

But the one who led the charge and made the most noise on social media was Chrissy Teigen, who took to Twitter to express her disgust on the CEO’s political opinions. “FUUUUUUUCK. A shame. Don’t care how good the beans taste though. Bye bye,” she tweeted.

Unanue responded to the people’s call to boycott his products, saying that the left is just attempting to suppress free speech, noting that he also spoke at a similar event before under former President Barack Obama’s administration.

However, it seems like Teigen has forgotten all about her call for boycotting Goya beans as the product was seen in one of her Instagram stories last Thursday. The model influencer posted a cooking lesson for oxtail stew on her Instagram stories, and in one of the photos, a can of goya pigeon peas can be seen in the background beside the other ingredients. People on Twitter were quick to call her out.

Teigen also tweeted a photo of presidential daughter Ivanka Trump holding a can of Goya beans, saying, “had it with anyone who EVER defends this woman or puts her as the “sane” one in this family. what a repulsive trolling of the people.”

It’s not surprising to see Teigen not living by her words and tweets, as most of the people from her party are known hypocrites.
