Jill Biden made a bold promise on the “The Daily Briefing” on Tuesday when she said that her husband would be ready to face the President on the debate stage when the time comes. “Oh yes, he will [debate]. I think it’s three debates that they decided on, so yeah, he’ll be there,” Jill responded when asked about the suggestions of Democrats that her husband should avoid debating President Trump.

The host of the show then asked her if that would be helpful to Biden’s campaign. Former Clinton White House press secretary Joe Lockhart has written an op-ed saying that Biden should just skip the debates, even going so far as to suggest the excuses that he can use. Others have joined the call, saying that the President will just be spouting lies anyway, so it’s useless to debate him. No one is being fooled by these efforts to cancel the debates. Everyone knows that the Democrats are just afraid that Biden’s failing cognitive abilities will be exposed once he is forced to speak live in front of an audience and when he has to deal with the President.

Even now, during the most controlled interviews and appearances, Biden is making gaffe after gaffe that it is becoming increasingly difficult for his aides to keep him on the right track.

Jill Biden was then asked to react to the President’s comments that the former vice president is not even leaving his basement. Jill replied by saying that they are just listening to the doctors who have told them to stay at home.

Biden’s wife was then asked about her husband’s policies, especially after he promised that he would be the most progressive President. “Joe is a moderate and that doesn’t mean that his ideas aren’t progressive and bold and forward-thinking, but he’s not someone who’s left, he’s not someone who is right, he’s a moderate and that’s who he’s always been,” Biden’s wife said. However, there are signs that his campaign is pandering to the far-left with their highly progressive policies.

They also promised that the former vice president is really close to naming who her vice president will be. It seems that they will be waiting for the very last moment who the choice will be. There really is no clear favorite right now. All the names that have surfaced so far are just speculation, and no one has been picked yet.
