In a viral video, Rapper Lord Jamar of the hip-hop group Brand Nubian made serious allegations that far-left supporter and billionaire George Soros might be the man behind the Black Lives Matter (BLM) Movement, adding that he was “robbing” African-Americans of their own “organic movement.”

During an interview on SCUM, the rapper made a bold statement saying “I’m not a Black Lives Matter supporter.” Surprised, the interviewer asked Jamar “You’re not?” and he responded, “No, absolutely not.” The rapper sparked even more controversy when he explained that BLM is not their movement, “This is a movement that was given to us by, you know, George Soros and his f*cking boys.” He continued to say that Soros and other influential people wanted to provide African-Americans with a movement that they can “control” in fears that black people would start their own movement as they did in the ’60s. He also accused Soros of providing leaders to spearhead “this type of sh!t.”

Jamar believed that the movement’s Marxist roots and radical views do not fit into the BLM’s original goals. He used the movement’s close ties with the LGBTQ movement to prove his point. “These lesbian women who are trying to incorporate, you know, LG whatever the f*** the letters incorporate their concerns into black people’s concerns,” the rapper said as he urged people to visit into the BLM movement’s website.

Based on the organization’s “What We Believe” page, the BLM movement is a “queer affirming network” of people who are driven to “dismantle cisgender privilege” as well as to “disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family.” The group stated that they are working to “uplift” black trans folk, specifically among black trans women who are continually facing violence. The group states, “We build a space that affirms Black women and is free from sexism, misogyny, and environments in which men are centered.”

Indeed, the movement’s founder Patrisse Cullors confirmed in 2015 that Black lives Matter activists are “trained Marxists” which were tasked to follow a specific “ideological frame.” This includes calls to “abolish capitalism” as well as “defund and dismantle the police.”

In 2016, a hacked Soros memo confirmed that the billionaire had given thousands of dollars to the Black Lives Matter movement. According to Soros’s Open Society Institute, the 2015 Baltimore political unrest which was a result of Freddie Gray’s death under police custody should be seen as a “unique opportunity.” The Institute believed that police officers should be held accountable and had given a whopping $650,000 donation to “invest” on technical assistance for the BLM movement.

Then, in June of 2020, numerous social justice and open border organizations which are linked to Soros’s are also putting pressure on the federal government to defund the police. According to a letter addressed to the House Judiciary Committee, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, the organizations are urging Congress to implement budget cuts on federal grant money saying that “Congress permanently end and cease any funding to local law enforcement in any form.” This includes funding for equipment, re-hiring, even overtime pay and programs which are under the Community Oriented Policing Services’ [“COPS”].
