On Wednesday, Black Lives Matter founding member Melina Abdullah accused President Donald Trump of being the country’s “Terrorist-in-chief” as he embodied “white supremacist terrorism.”

During an interview with CNN’s “Newsroom,” the show’s host Brooke Baldwin remarked that the President is “lashing out” against New York City’s plan to have a Black Lives Matter paint scheme on the entire Fifth Avenue, including the infamous Trump Tower. Baldwin added that Trump called the BLM movement a “denigrating and symbol of hate.” The host continued, “So let’s just begin with the words the president used about this street painting, a symbol of hate, your response to that?”

Without a blink, Abdulla responded that it is hypocritical for Trump to consider anything as a “symbol of hate.” The BLM founder continued, “He is the embodiment of hate, and for him to say that affirming the value of black life is somehow hate, again, reminds us of who he is.”

Baldwin echoed Abdulla’s sentiment citing two videos that Trump had shared within the week, including a GOP supporter who screamed “white power” and another of an armed couple who were protecting their home against BLM protesters. The host added that the President himself is triggering the “racial divide” in the U.S. She then asked the BLM founder on how she thinks the country would respond if Trump continues his racist actions.

“I think we need to remember who he is — that Donald Trump is the embodiment of white supremacist terrorism,” Abdulla said. She added that by sharing those two videos, Trump is proving himself as a supporter of the “white terrorist movement.” The BLM founder continued that Trump’s racist actions go beyond his tweets, but had become a recurring theme of his administration in the past four years. She also accused him of inciting hate crimes, especially among members of the black community.

Abdulla concluded that the country had to remember who Trump is, and what his administration had done to the country. Finally, the BLM founder claimed that instead, the entire country is pointing at him as the real ‘terrorist-in-chief.”

The problem with the BLM founder’s statement is the fact that their own members had started and spread violence and anarchy across the country. For example, in New York City, BLM supporters vandalized several buildings, including a 40ft structure which was named after the City’s first African-American Mayor. Over the past week, the city also saw a recent surge in shooting incidents, some had even led to the death of innocent civilians

In Seattle, protesters have established Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone as a safe space for people to hold their protests. However, residents living in the area reported rampant cases of looting, violence, and robbery. In fact, Democrat and Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan was forced to dismantle CHAZ after the death of two black teenagers.

Meanwhile in Atlanta, protesters also burned down and looted several business establishments, including Wendy’s fast-food chain following the death of an African American man, Rayshard Brooks under police custody.

Most recently, protesters also burned down the historic 102-year-old Thompson Elk fountain in Portland. To light the fire, rioters tore off the boards that were meant to protect the city’s courthouse and used it as firewood.
