Stephen King is the latest celebrity to attack fellow author J.K. Rowling for her views on who should be considered to be real women. He is rebuking her claim that there are biological gender differences. He is expressing his agreement with the trans-activists who say that whoever claims to be a woman should be considered as such even if he was born a man.

The controversy started when Rowling made a tweet in reaction to an article. “ ‘People who menstruate.’ I’m sure there used to be a word for those people. Someone help me out. Wumben? Wimpund? Woomud?” That generated a backlash that has seen writers, actors, and companies condemning her for stating the obvious. They all accused Rowling of being transphobic. Some have even said that the identity of transwomen should not be accepted without question.

In the midst of the hate-storm, Rowling posted another tweet. This time she quoted a feminist by saying, “it isn’t hateful for women to speak about their own experiences, nor do they deserve shaming for doing so.” King retweeted that message, and Rowling thanked him for the support. “I’ve always revered @StephenKing, but today my love reached — maybe not Annie Wilkes levels — but new heights,” she said in a tweet that has now been deleted.

Unfortunately for Rowling, King’s support for her was short-lived. Apparently, he started receiving hateful messages from trans-fanatics who are unwilling to tolerate any disagreement with their claims that run counter to biology and will attack anyone who expresses a different opinion from them.

Soon, King was tweeting, “Yes. Trans women are women,” he tweed in a disgusting display of spinelessness. Apparently, King now agrees with the view that it is enough for a person to claim to be a woman to be considered as such. That would entitle him to go into women’s bathrooms and use the same facilities that are meant for women.

Anyone who disagrees with the views of the trans-fanatics is being canceled out now. Even someone who is as liberal as J.K. Rowling is no longer safe if they express a different opinion.
